    National Association of the Deaf is having a two-day leadership conference in Austin, Texas this coming weekend. My sister and family recently re-located to Austin because they both received job offers at the Texas School of the Deaf (TSD). I will be seeing their new home for the first time.

    By coincidence, TSD is where the conference will be hosted. I recently read an e-mail distributed by NAD sharing the news that the conference has 130 registrants. I was pleased to hear this, and I would think NAD is surprised by this also.

    The conference will focus on nonprofit organizations. One workshop will be given by our very own at DeafRead. Amy Cohen Efron will be presenting on blogging and vlogging - that’s one workshop I am sure to attend! :)

    I look forward to meeting the 130 registrants and speakers this coming weekend.

    Austin, Texas?!?! Really? Serious? Real Biz? Wow, I am sure you would benefit from this great presentation from NLTC. I am happy that NAD created the idea of this aspect, I am sure many who registered there would benefit it.

    I am sure you would surely give good report about that at the conference… have a safe trip there and back.
