I was expecting less traffic yesterday (Wednesday) on deafologue. With any new website, traffic goes up for the first one or two days, then it goes down. When it reaches bottom, it starts climbing upwards–slowly.
I was surprised to see the third day reaching almost as high as the second day (after official launch which was Monday). 2,000 pageviews is impressive. My personal blog, almost two years old now, hasn’t once seen more than 2,000 pageviews in a day ever, even with a post that saw 5,200 views across a few days.
Below is a screenshot of a views graph. As you see Tuesday and Wednesday received 2,000+ pageviews. This proves multi-author blogs are more popular than single author blogs.
.

The first dot (on the left) is before it was opened to the public. The second dot is when it was announced on DeafVIDEO.TV. The next dot was on a Sunday. Not many people visit websites on Sundays.
The next dot is on Monday, when deafologue was announced on DeafRead. The next two dots are Tuesday and Wednesday.Where is the bottom? I have a feeling it’ll be this weekend.
It’s gotten warmer outside!
